TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR PUBLIC COMMENT. January first marked not just the beginning of a New Year, but the beginning of yet another public comment period regarding a revote on the rules regulating historical racing. With two newly appointed Texas Racing Commissioners it is more important than ever to make your voice heard, and educate them on how their decision will impact tens of thousands of jobs and the entire Texas Horse industry. Enough of you have stood strong for our industry to get us here and we ask that you continue to show this strength in the face of threats of de-funding the agency. Act now by sending a letter to the Commission and ask them, once again, to vote against repealing the rules regulating historical racing. The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce is in support of allowing horse racing to operate unfettered in Texas. GO TO WWW.SAVETEXASHORSES.COM TO SEND LETTERS!
